1441 Pizzeria: My Experience

Walking in through a bright green door, with brick walls on one side and scenery painted on the other, this small place makes you feel like having entered a small restaurant in the heart of Italy.  Upon stepping in, you can usually find pizza dough being flipped in the air or pizza being made in their huge vintage style oven.

The pizza’s here are authentic and pretty damn good. Made with special flour flown in just for their pizzas, you can either choose from the already given options or make your own (My advice would be to choose the latter). Right from a basic Margherita Pizza with cheese and their special pizza sauce to a Gourmet Pizza with almost every ingredient on the counter, the choice is endless. With a thin, crisp base, lots of cheese, fresh veggies and a hint of smokey flavours, the pizza’s here will take your taste buds on a trip to Italy.

The best part is actually making your own pizza! Get behind the counter, put on a apron and choose the base, toppings and even the cheese you want. Slide it in the oven and just like that you can become an pizza maker.

Wash all this goodness down with some chilled cola or maybe an iced tea. I tried the peach one and was surprised as to how good it actually was. If you are not a tea person, you can always go for the cola machine that lets you refill your drink as many times as you want.

All the good food deserves a good end. Try their warm and gooey Nutella pizza topped with fruits and marshmallows or their rich Chocolate mousse, either way it’s a good choice.

So if you take your pizza seriously, this is one place you need to drop by!
