A classic British dessert, this pie makes for a perfect end to a hearty meal. It’s super easy to whip up and is a great way to put those extra bananas to use!
1 pack digestive biscuits
50 grams melted butter
2 large Bananas
1/2 cup Caramel sauce
200 ml whipped Cream
3 TBSP castor sugar
1 TSP Vanilla extract
1. Start by crushing the biscuits and melting the butter in 2 separate bowls. Once the butter has completely melted, mix it in thoroughly with the biscuits and set it aside.
2.Mix the cream, sugar and vanilla extract and whisk until slightly thick. Mash the bananas well, add to the mix and whisk again until well combined.
3.Layer all the ingredients in a well greased baking tin lined with butter paper. Start with the biscuit layer, the caramel and the banana cream.
4. Top it off with grated chocolate or drizzle some more caramel.
