The Bombay fusion food festival or the Bff food fest as it is popularly called, was on the 23rd and 24th of April at the Mahalaxmi Race course this year.
The food of Mumbai in itself is a fusion of cuisines and it is safe to say that Mumbaikars love to eat. Not only do they like their local cuisine but they also like to mix up their pallet and that is exactly what this fest is all about!
It is a goldmine for everyone who loves food. This was my first year attending it and the variety of food was incredible. This festival is truly a celebration of food at its best. From the most well known brands to the most humble home bakers, the quality of the food here is unreal.
The J, Di Bella coffee, The Irish house bar, 1441 pizzeria, Wok express, The waffle house, are some of the many well known food brands that were here this year along with a few incredible smaller businesses like The butternut co, Bakeips, Bitter sweet something, Yogisattva and many more. Each stall is different and has its own unique bites to offer.
It’s quite an experience. There are a lot of different food options to choose from. Whether you have a sweet tooth, prefer Chinese, are into organic foods , love a drink or maybe just want a little bit of everything, you can have it all right here.
It’s not only the food that makes this fest such a delight. The ambiance and the good vibe just adds to the experience. They have some great music, performances and you can shop here for a lot of other things like clothes, jewelry and more.
This festival is not just about eating food, it is about celebrating food in its true sense. It is about understanding and experiencing different varieties of foods and cuisines, trying out new things and having a good time together. So, if you ever get a chance, do try and be a part of this wonderful festival.
