Healthy Breakfast Ideas

It is said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and since it’s the start of our day, it’s always nice to keep it healthy.

But with our busy schedules we often eat a lot of junk food because its easier to make, but here are a few really quick and healthy recipes that you can make for breakfast

1. Oats

According to me, oats are pretty versatile. Here are 2 ways in which you can eat them for breakfast.

– You can mix in oats with some milk and sugar and top it off with some of your favorite fruits and seeds. You can also add nuts and berries and it makes the most nutritious breakfast ever.

– The second thing you can do is heal up a pan and add some oil to it. Take some oats in a bowl and soak it up in some water.Keep the bowl aside. Chop up some tomatoes, onions, coriander and chili. Add them to the pan with some red chili powder and salt to taste. Put the oats in and mix well. Top it off with some more coriander and its ready to eat!

2. Whole Wheat Banana Pancakes

To make this you will need to mash-up one banana in a bowl. Add 2 eggs to it and 1/4 cup of wheat flour. Mix it all together and your batter is ready. Take a non stick pan and grease it lightly. Put little spoons of batter and cook until slightly golden brown on both sides. Top it off with honey, Berries or even whipped cream. It’s very easy to make and tastes amazing!

3. Frozen Banana Smoothie

So, this needs some prior preparation. To make it, you will need to chop up one banana, put it in a zip lock and freeze it over night. The next morning, you need to put this frozen banana in a blender along with any other fruits or berries you like. Add about 1/2 cup of milk and some sweetened condensed milk. Blend all of this together and the mixture will be creamy and smooth. Put It In your favorite mug or bowl and top it off with some more fruits and nuts. It’s ready to eat!

4. Egg Salad

For this, you will need one small tomato, one capsicum and a few leaves of a cabbage (All finely chopped), Add in 2 boiled eggs and 1 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise along with some salt, pepper and some paprika (or chili flakes). Mix it all in together and voila! Breakfast is ready!
